Hi Shane!

It's great to see you.
This is a brilliant display. The only thing I've seen like it for Star Fleet is Yaco in Japan who is a huge collector of all kinds of things but he focusses a lot on Star Fleet.

I like your Dai-X model in particular.

A new fan story came my way from Suzy, which is a continuation of Revenge of Makara.
The contact page on the website obviously comes in useful for something, because I got an early look at it before it was even typed up and I enjoyed it a lot.

I thought you might want to take a look over it.

At the same time, I've had an awful lot of progress made on the game over the past couple of months.
That run has been a bit interrupted over the last week or two due to work and health.

I want to get a prototype of a proper local multiplayer mode set up before very long.
This is going to be based on the X-Fighters, rather than X-Bomber.
That way, it means no arbitrary constraint on the number of players, but I think 2 will do for now at least.
It would be nice for it to support as many as 4, so I can plug in 3 cheap controllers into a laptop or media PC.
It also creates a proper variety in the game and draws in more elements from our hard work around the show over the years. :)

I wanted to grab the opportunity and see if that was fine from your end, and if so, which X-Fighter colour scheme that I drew some time back would be Emma's one?

Thank you so much Crash, good to hear from you too.

I like the multiplayer idea

Please go ahead with anything you want to do regarding any tech from TROM. The X Fighter concept came from Andy’s Genesis project and I created a mark 2 for TROM. Red for Emma Steel please.

I was browsing (doom scrolling) Facebook the other day and saw a couple of sketches I did for TROM that I had completely forgotten about.

Really looking forward to reading the continuation of TROM.

Hi Shane,

I remember better now. The original X-fighters had Alliance technology in them, which backfired.
That plot point has aged amazingly well with the amount of info that 'our own' equipment collects on us now, and not for our own use.

I remember thinking a long time ago that, by the time of the events of the game, the original X-Fighters would have all been put to one side and completely replaced by the new ones.

It would be an interesting thing, if you had a player ship with a certain advantage, but there was always an outside chance that it might decide to commit suicide and go left when you told it to right, or something.
Either that, or a really irritating gameplay mechanic - one or the two.

I don't know how long the forum has done this, but I like how you can throw an attachment into the message box.
That is a real time-saver.
It's a bit of a hidden feature, if you don't know that it's there.
I think I might use that a fair bit more from now on...

About those scans on facebook, do you know if we have those on the site? Because if not, I'd like to add them.
