Hi jyapanX,

Thanks very much for taking the time to register and let us know about this!

I spotted something about this on twitter and reposted it on the site:
http://xbomber.co.uk/?a=545

I don't see any way of attending this myself but I suspect that we will see a lot images from the event appearing on social media once it opens.

Do you know anything further rumours about it, other than what's been published by the organisers?

Best Regards,
Piers

The event announcement with photos in Japan was uploaded today.

More than 100 items such as marionette props, mechanic miniatures, design work, etc. will be exhibited.

Thanks for getting back to me,

I saw on my phone this morning that there had been some news surrounding the event in October.

I did a bit of an update on it here:
http://xbomber.co.uk/?a=554

... and then I only saw your message after that.

Can I take it that you're planning on going to the Expo?
If so, would you be able to let us have some images from it?

That sounds terrific!
Thanks in advance,

What do you think of xbomber.co.uk?
As far as I'm aware, it's the only Star Fleet / X Bomber site that's still updated.
I'd really like to hear your thoughts about it.

There is no X Bomber fan site in Japan.

Therefore, it is very enviable because there is no place for fans to interact with each other.

This is what surprises me: that, despite this site being English-language, there hasn't been a Japanese equivalent set up, since you see lots of artists and hobbyists in Japan, who are very passionate about the show and who are very active on twitter.

Twitter and Pixiv are the main sites that I go to, with users from Japan, where I pick up news from.

I wondered whether you had suggestions for any others.

PS:
Has it occurred to anyone how remarkable it seems that the organisers of this upcoming event managed to have all these models and puppets commissioned to be remade and the first we hear of it is less than 2 months before the event opening?
