LEGO Ideas - Classic Cobra Mk III from Elite!
Hope everyone's well, been a while since I dropped in. I've been rediscovering the world of Elite, and that resulted in this little project: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/f06b2372-aa7d-4a78-bc0c-69e5557354cc Enjoy the trip down memory lane, arrived shortly after Star Fleet for me! cobra_cover.png

LEGO Ideas - the DEDR Dropship
Greetings one and all, for those that remain, I've finally gotten round to removing the Santa hat! In other news, I have another niche LEGO Idea active that's in dire need of some support! On the plus side it taught me how to do quite nifty renders, downside is no-one seems particularly taken by it!...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Apologies for not being around more, my new work blocks the forum as a gaming site because it's hosted on xbomber and I had some daft laptop issues to sort out. Been a deeply busy year and not always for the best reasons, so let's hope 2019 turns things around! Dai-X now has his traditional Christma...

Re: Street Hawk Comic strip from Look-in (March 1985 to October 1985)
Same here I'm afraid, my Look-In stash pre-dates this era. All sorts of shows got the comic treatment in Look-In back in the day... This might be the site Crash came across? http://starlogged.blogspot.com/2017/07/1985-street-hawk-look-in-strip.html The site's entry on the series is here too: http://...

LEGO Ideas - Bluebird K7 Jet Hydroplane
Very off topic for in here, but what the hey, my latest LEGO Idea is based on a real life vehicle for once! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/ae4c092 ... edd7fed6ea

LEGO - Halley's Return (the comet one!)
So I'm still tinkering with my LEGO and when this contest came up I felt obliged to give it a go. There have been a shed load of entries so trying to get votes is really down to advertising. So! https://ideas.lego.com/challenges/1b817aba-3990-4e6d-a17f-7a59a948d02f/application/a3517ef9-ac25-4579-ba3...

Re: Star Trek Discovery
Ok, caught up except for this week's now! Well, well, well, well well. Well. SPOILERS. Did I see it coming? A touch. There was a clear telegraphing of the fact that when they were supposed to jump to the starbase, he ran something through his chair control that suggested to me he'd actively chosen a...

Re: Lego Ideas - Big Dai-X!
Dai-X has now sunk, mecha just don't seem to fly too well on Ideas, but thanks to anyone who did support it. Crash, I think as long as you label stuff up well enough Google will enable people to find it these days. I used to re-jig SFXB's structure quite a lot as it got bigger, but maybe it's not so...

Re: Star Trek Discovery
Ooooh yes, Defiant. There's a YouTube video that's basically a summary of that episode (yes, the Tholians had found the Defiant and were trying to fix it up). The really great thing about the video? Someone had the genius idea to put the Airwolf theme on it! So as they start up Defiant it's like the...

Re: Star Trek Discovery
Although I tend to have to watch it on a small screen, it's certainly what you'd expect from a modern Trek that's thrown off any sense of a "PG" rating in how it deals with things - it's pretty brutal in places and in that sense is very different to most of what's come before. It faces tha...
