Hi thanks for this ...
I think we have something from an older article from Uchusen:
http://www.xbomber.co.uk/?dir=Star%20Fl ... %20Uchusen
This is the cover of the one that I have:
https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/en/auction/ ... top_search
As I remember, there were more pages to the feature on X Bomber but the ones that I left out were solid text: no images.
If you're interested, I can dig out that issue and scan the remainder.
I can't seem to find a newer issue of Uchusen that explicitly has an X Bomber feature in it.
If you recognise the cover, can you see it on here?
https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/en/item/sea ... top_search
Is it this one with the blue helmet on the cover?:
https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/en/special/ ... top_search
I'm always interested in more articles on X Bomber, because more articles means a bigger website, and a bigger website means, well ...

Well-spotted,
They could've made that bigger, couldn't they?
The scanning backlog is very big, but a copy of that is now mine.
The site is hardly going be complete without that, so we'll see what it's like...
Might take a while to arrive ...
Thanks for letting me know about that,

Update on this ...
This magazine has arrived at FromJapan's depot but I'm waiting a few more days to ship it to the UK because I have one of these arriving:
https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/en/special/ ... top_search
Figure King No. 296 Special Feature ● "X Bomber Expo 2022" Commemorative! X Bomber
I'm not certain that it's going to arrive before one of my other items runs out of its days of storage, but I'm gonna give it a chance.

Hi jyapanX,
The magazine that you pointed me towards arrived yesterday along with this new magazine: Figure King 296 with the huge Dai-X photo on the cover.
I've not had a chance to open them yet, let alone scan them.
I wanted to ask you whether you thought there was any chance of you being able to get me a copy of the accompanying book that's on sale at this Expo.
I've seen some pictures of the contents and it looks *amazing*.
If there's any chance of you picking up an extra one, once the Expo opens, I am more than happy to pay for it and shipping and whatever else needs doing.
Failing that, no worries ... I suspect that one may turn up on FromJapan if I just sit tight and wait.
Equally, I had a query about translating particularly the Shonen Jump manga of X-Bomber into English.
I looked into having it done professionally, but the costs of translating all of them were really quite substantial and I'm not able to stretch to it right now.
It was going to be a fairly healthy 4-figures in pounds sterling to get just the Shonen Jump ones done.
I wondered if you had any friend or contacts that might be able to help us get an English translation of those comics.
I'm particularly interested in doing it so I can find out anything more about the character: Ruby that appears in that manga, but not in the show.

Oh, that's excellent - no need to cross my fingers that it shows up on an auction site somewhere.
I'll check next week and see if I can order it.
Thanks very much for that info,
I'd taken it that, if you weren't able to go the event, then you were out of luck.
200 x A4 pages - That looks to be nearly as substantial and comprehensive as the Encyclopaedia that was published about X Bomber back in the day.
From some of the photos that I've seen of the contents, it seems to have concept art of a character: Marie, who didn't make it to the show.
I've never seen anything like that before in anything that I've read on Star Fleet / X Bomber.
I wonder whether she might have been the basis for the Ruby character in the Shonen Jump manga.
Apparently, the comic artists only had access to very basic concept info about the show when doing their work and the show had yet to go on air.
Well, it looks like this is going to be an exciting week from a Star Fleet perspective.
Thanks again!

Welp, I got mine ordered.
It did say on the ordering process that they don't take debit cards, but it seemed to accept a debit mastercard just fine and the order confirmation came through OK.
So, everyone else can have at it now, until they run out.
