Re: Anyone down South want to take some photos?

By the way, Andy, how did you come across this chap in Instagram? I was wondering whether he'd messaged you, or perhaps you'd found him while browsing etc. I'm badly de-railing this topic here, but it does still follow on from what I was saying before ... I have the Shonen Jump X Bomber manga all sc...

Re: Anyone down South want to take some photos?

Hi Andy, how are you doing? This is a good find, probably not a job for this guy; especially at the moment sadly. I see he has a decent Star Fleet collection; dynamite Dai-X and the jumbo one with the rocket launchers on the legs for starters ... I need to find time to do my scanning of the Japanese...

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

That looks fantastic. I like it a lot. It looks very exact and accurate.

It'll look great with the mid-section added, but getting the shape and the proportions of the leg 'outer shells' this good, will have been the most difficult part of it, I would think.

Re: New Star Fleet Audio Drama in the works.

Holy cow, this is really well put together. I really like it. You have a real skill for this. I'm sorry about the very slow reply, things have been interesting on our end. Anyway, whatever, this is great. Thanks very much! I'm gonna add this to the site. I haven't had any free resource to even do an...

Re: Remember starfleetxbomber.co.uk?

It's a real shame that so little of Shane's original site images was captured by archive.org. There was some really interesting content on there. I remember, Shane had the start of a Revenge of Makara comic on there that was really nicely done in Photoshop. I never saw that again, afterward, and whe...

Re: Barry Hercules bust sculpted in 3D

Hey Dave, how's it going? Good to see you!

I must be having a major go-slow...
I saw this and thought: "Wow, have I seen this work before?", and then saw that I'd actually replied in January.
Unbelievable :D

Re: 20 Years of SFXB!

Hi Andy! What a based video, I think this is a really interesting bit of Star Fleet history; about the making of the site and the DVDs etc. I want to put a copy on the site. Things are wild now, but It's been a great 20 years. I think our sites will be around for another 20 years, and I think the ne...

Hi Brad,
I'm sorry about the slow reply. Things have been full-on lately.

That looks really incredible as always!

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

I see no personal need to make them transform, myself. Better to create the detached versions of each of the three ships and a single Dai-X 'character'. Let peoples' imagination do the work. You'd be able to create or re-create all sorts of scenes and renders without going into the actual transforma...

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

This is looking really terrific. For me, LegTrax is the most interesting of the 3 Dai-X fighters, because it undergoes the most significant/obvious transformation in order to form part of the robot. That might mean that it's the most challenging to do. I vaguely remember that when I did the little s...
