Re: Educating Microsoft Co-Pilot

Well, it's true, what it says. :D I think SFXB has been a lighthouse for a lot of people (like in my case) who half-remembered the show from childhood. I found Co-pilot, although it was technically quite impressive, remarkably restrictive around image creation... I tried to make it create some ...

Re: SFXB Display Case

Those will look great together. Would be very interested to see another picture at that point, :) It sounds like things are going well at your end, which is great. I was getting a bit of work done on X-Bomber the Game last night and the night before. Need to round off what I've done and get this ...

Re: SFXB Display Case

Awesome display: great assortment of items (Star Fleet and non-Star Fleet) :)
What is the ship on the middle shelf?

NVM, I recognise the letters on its plaque, plus it looked like a battleship.
Excellent choice: beautiful model as well,

Re: SFXB Display Case

Whoah, the colouration and pattern on that are really good.
Did it arrive that way, or did you make such a great job of it yourself?

Re: SFXB Display Case

Hi Shane, I remember better now. The original X-fighters had Alliance technology in them, which backfired. That plot point has aged amazingly well with the amount of info that 'our own' equipment collects on us now, and not for our own use. I remember thinking a long time ago that, by the time of ...

Re: SFXB Display Case

Hi Shane! It's great to see you. This is a brilliant display. The only thing I've seen like it for Star Fleet is Yaco in Japan who is a huge collector of all kinds of things but he focusses a lot on Star Fleet. I like your Dai-X model in particular. A new fan story came my way from Suzy, which is a ...

TrekCore's Section 31 Movie Review

STAR TREK: SECTION 31 Is a Dreary, Unfortunate Misfire — Our Spoiler-Free Review Spoiler-Free Review: SECTION 31 brings back Michelle Yeoh — but forgets all the STAR TREK — in the dismal new Paramount+ film TrekCore.com I'm unsurprised that the film is apparently dreadful. Even the screenshots remin ...

Re: 80s game music

I remember hearing this soundtrack, or at the very least coming across it, back when I was coding X-Bomber the Game at the start: when I was first adding the music, back when it was done with MIDI to keep filesizes down, when we used to have to care about these things. I obviously didn't research ...

Re: Merry Festivities and Fixes!

Hi Andy,
I hope 2025 is treating you well so far!

Happy New Year to all the Fleeters.

There is quite a bit going on behind-the-scenes on the site and with the game at the moment.
It should hopefully be that we are ready for a new release of the game in a few weeks.

Re: 80s game music

I wasn't really around for 80s gaming. I think the earliest kind of things I remember were shareware titles from the 90s... X-Wing had some good music, along with TIE Fighter. I've not played those titles since the Windows 95 days: long before floppy disk drives disappeared from computers and I ...
