Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

Thank you for the compliments, it’s a pleasure. For the metalic parts, I used AK true metal brush paint, they have a good look. As for the forum all goes well, it’s just that the bradster thread has deviated by my fault in 3d realization. After you either open a dedicated thread or stay on the one ,...

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

https://zupimages.net/up/21/43/lt7b.jpg https://zupimages.net/up/21/43/3rvm.jpg Dayson on cults 3d downloaded my creations. I saw that he himself put online a PPA robot. I would never have thought of modeling a ppa! I did it very quickly by adding antennas and a little paint. A model without any pr...

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

Do the tops of the three body sections of the carrier need any camouflaging/texture applied to them? I can't remember from the show. You tend to only see those vehicles from the front and side. I had asked myself that question. When I looked at the images, I did not see any camouflage on the top. h...

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

The photos of the models finished after a layer of after, paintings (Tamiya Mister Hobby), a small blow of dry brusing. I used decals that I printed at work on a laser printer. The logo still comes from Bradster on the Crash site. https://zupimages.net/up/21/41/a5uu.jpg https://zupimages.net/up/21/4...

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

Finally, here are all the modelled pieces https://zupimages.net/up/21/41/s6uo.jpg A "cold" mounting https://zupimages.net/up/21/41/8gx0.jpg The difficulty here is to remove the support parts. For those who don’t know it ( and I didn’t know it), the principle of an fdm printer is the printi...

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

I will respond to Crash’s last comment. After acquiring a scratch model of the Bombardier x , I embarked on the integral construction of the Imperial Cruiser and the Orion Fortresses, I opened two posts on this topic in this part of the forum. I continued to follow the different works of each one in...

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

Your work is indeed progressing well, and I appreciate your approach. It’s interesting the differences you notice on the side drawings and the front face of the x bomber. I had made the exact same remark to myself when making an imperial cruiser on a model for the two different sides. I had great co...

Re: Yet another X-Bomber 3d build

https://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=21/06/0x1i.jpg https://zupimages.net/viewer.php?id=21/06/bv7m.png Two Bombardier X reference images according to me. I wonder about the first one. Is it consistent with the proportions? The model seems elongated to me, I do not know. The second is a fine work of d...

Re: Forum Downtime

Good morning. I agree with Brad about contributing through PayPal. It would be a pleasure and a just contribution of your efforts. Regarding the 3d model, I’d like to ask Brad, the mistakes he spotted on the posters.Indeed the proportions were wrong for the view of the face concerning the imperial c...
