Gary 3D-printed this 37cm X-Bomber for another model maker.
It looks to be a development/extension of Dan Ross' earlier work, which you can find out more about here as well.
It takes 33hrs for the printer to produce it.
The Dai-X segments set into the model can be removed and assembled into the full Dai-X.
I understand that Gary is working on a 65cm version which may allow the neck to lift and present the laser cannons.
Additionally, the bridge area and engines will be clear to allow lighting to be added there.
An engraved stand is an option as well.
After this, we may see an astrofighter carrier...
