« Other / TV Shows - Max Steel

Max Steel was one of those CGI Saturday morning shows that you really looked forward to.
I'm sure it sold a lot of action figures at the time but the series itself had good animation and action sequences, an intriguing premise, cool vehicles and equipment and likeable characters.

The series ran for 2 seasons of 13 episodes, made by Foundation Imaging. After that animation company folded, Mainframe entertainment continued the show with a third season of 9 episodes.

The first season was released on two DVDs but the remainder of the show can be found on Dailymotion.
The second season episodes aren't as well written and put together while the animation quality actually drops in Season 3. The rendering and lighting were less impressive and some character models were recycled from other series that didn't match the show's animation style.
