It puzzles me a bit why the Lieutenant was not given a surname related to a bird of prey: shouldn't he have been called Lt. Eagle, or Buzzard, or something? I know Ninestein is not a hawk-related name, either, but we can excuse that because "nine" is significant, as he is one of 9 clones, plus it rhymes with Einstein.

I seem to remember that in the second Terrahawks annual, there was a funny story in which the "loo-tenant" temporarily got changed into a nasty little bug, like a caterpillar with teeth. (And I think, as you may predict, my devious mother-in-law was at the bottom of it all.) Am I correct?

And also in the second annual he was infected with the 'Ga-ga Bug', and in the first he was attacked by killer insects and shrunk. He didn't have much fun in most of those stories.
