Never thought about this before, even when I was researching for my own site, but we've never known the voice actor for Caliban. Well after watching The Making of Superman III last night (Got the big Supes boxset for Xmas, gotta love Superman.) I was astonished to find it was narrated by none other than Caliban himself aka: Al Matthews. It was quite funny because his voice is unmistakable and I was expecting him to go off on a tangent at any momment and start talking about his Death Ball. What's even more cool is that Al Matthews was Sgt. Apone in Aliens. So thats 3 Star Fleet actors that turned up in Aliens, the others being: Mark Rolston as Private M. Drake and Jay Benedict as Russ Jordan. (Aliens Special Edition.) His IMDB biog:http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0559922/His website:http://www.almatthews.co.uk/news/newsst ... NewsID=2No mention of his work on Star Fleet on any of the biogs though.

Garrick Did the voices for Halley and Captain Carter, Pete did the voices for the first Captain Halley and carried on as Dr Benn and the Narator.

Pete was talking about how he was chosen by Louis Elman to do the voices for Dr Benn.Garrick was brought in with Lisa to do Carter and Lamia. it wasn't until someone on the crew stated that Pete's Skull voice sounded to much like Dr Benn and kids would get confused as to who was who.So Pete stepped down as the skull captians voice durring the early part of the show and Garrick took over as he had very little scenes compared to everyone else.Pete then after Dr Benn was killed off, took over as producer of the show as Louis was getting tired from making the show. He continued as the narator and voiced a few of the other minor charactors.Garrick did two extra voices one being the skull commander that gets killed durring the skull raid that led to Kirrara's death.

I actually e-mailed the address given on Al's site to attempt to confirm this. Unfortunately this was back in May of 2012 and still no response.I wonder if any of the fellow cast have an answer to that question. Though from what I recall Hagon can't remember doing any particular character (though was obviously Halley) other than Carter -- but surely someone might recall another voice actor outside the main cast coming in toward the end...On the topic of voice actors, i'm fairly certain that Numbers 1 and 2 were voiced by Jay Benedict and John Baddeley respectively. Mainly because Number 1 sounds like Shiro (in fact I'm fairly certain that Jay did the voices of most of the EDF members) and i'm fairly familiar with John Baddeley and he has quite the distinctive voice so with that one I'm 100% sure of that.

Great thread - I've always wondered who did which voices (beyond their own) - mystery solved. At long, long last!

Caliban's voice actor in both versions of the series; English or Japanese seems to be an enigma. I'm quite convinced that Matthews voiced Caliban though. The Japanese wikipedia entry for X-Bomber states that Caliban's (or Professor Gedora's in this case) Japanese voice actor is Kenichi Ogata, though I can't seem to find that in the Japanese end credits for Eps 20-23 (or 19-22). According to the end credits I found that Number 1 and 2 were voiced by Hideyuki Tanaka and Masaharu Sato.
