amazon prime

only joined to say this , couldnt find any reference to it on this forum .
starfleet is now available via amazon prime , in the uk at least , dont know how long its been on there or how long it will stay on but me and my son have been watching it for a couple of weeks - hes 5 - he loves it.

Thanks very much for this one, it's good to see you.
What's the quality of it like? Is it essentially a rip of the blurry UK DVDs or is it better than that?
I would go and subscribe myself but I'm trying to stay away from Amazon over concerns about how they look after their employees.

its very grainy , basically vhs quality . so its more or less exactly how i remember watching it on tv at home with our dodgy aerial made from a coat hanger .

That's probably the DVD Versions, they don't look that great, I wouldn't call them VHS quality exactly since they still have clarity that a VHS rip wouldn't have, but they're unclean that's for sure. The DVD transfers were likely the 16mm broadcast transfers, either that or copies of them.

Well, BladeZ will be happy that his remastering work hasn't been undermined in that case.
I keep telling myself to mux together the video from the French DVDs and the audio from the UK ones.
One problem - I've never done any video editing before, really.

Star Fleet has been on there for a few years now ( well It was on Love Film before the change to Amazon Prime). Yeah, not a great quality source to begin with and then compounded further by average streaming quality, for me at the time.
