Bit of a late follow-up, but Gainax, the studio behind Evangelion, have put Anderson tributes in several of their shows - the equally nautically based "Secret of Blue Water" (aka "Nadia of the Mysterious Seas") features a Thunderbird 2 parody launch sequence, the generally-regarded-as-the-best-OAV-there-will-ever-be "Gunbuster" features a suspiciously FireFlash-looking supersonic transport, and thinking about it the whole of Evangelion could actually be described as "UFO: With Giant Robots!".

I'm half-dreading my "special" birthday next year; but half looking forward to it, because it will give me an excuse to order an irresistible Little Mermaid cake I've seen online (on the website of some cakemakers local to me). It has edible decorations of Flounder & Sebastian, and a little octopus for good measure; and the birthday-girl's name within a starfish on the front. In a way, it's a shame I'll have to wait until next January; I'm already counting down the days!

Here's a photo of the cake I shared with my lucky colleagues a few days ago: https://www.facebook.com/#!....theater

If Terrahawks made a version of Annie, it would be "Katie", with Miss Kestrel as the curly-haired songbird. Mary Falconer = Grace Farrell, a charming lady; and Ninestein = Warbucks. Zelda would be Miss Hannigan; and Cystar = Lily, the bubbly blonde villainess. The Space Samurai (regarded as wonderful by Cystar) could be Rooster.

The thing you have with Terrahawks was that it so weird that it only made sense in is own little world.

The characters were so strange that you would really struggle to cast them as real people.
Casting X-Men is much easier.

Although, it did strike me that this guy would make a good Ninestein:

What do you think?

Here's something strange...
Jeremy Renner is cast as Hawkeye in Avengers.

Wouldn't he be good as Terrahawks' Hawkeye as well?

If you gave him a good shave and slightly longer hair, he'd be perfect.
