Finally caught an episode. Unfortunately, the actual story was only average - how many times has "horde of metal munching robo-insects" been done before? - but the mechanical work is superb. One nice touch was the "deck crews" on SkyBase doing the proper "carrier landing" gestures.Still not overly convinced about the voice acting, but this may be because I'm still adjusting to the "new" voices. I'm also an anime fan, and we tend to be a touch over-sensitive to that kind of thing...
