Did anyone ever follow this? I think it was around in the early 2000s, by Foundation Imaging. It struck me at the time as being very realistically done for CGI of its time, to the point I almost forgot it was CGI. Sadly like Dungeons and Dragons the last few episodes didn't get made due to production problems...

Re: Starship Troopers - Roughneck Chronicles
I've seen this. It was quite a good show.
It's interesting how many flavours and incarnations there are of Starship Troopers; the movies, that series, the book itself.
There's also a newish animated film which is very good and a 1988 anime which I've never seen.
The aliens were never giant monsters in the books. - They were just aliens with guns and ships.
But the Starship Troopers CGI had a good 'feel' especially in the earlier episodes.
I remember that they introduced the skinnies which were the main enemy's buddies from the book.
