Could this be the most endearing alien ever?

I'm watching this exact show (when I can find the time).
The voice actors for Buzz and XR are brilliant and the script is really clever.
Buzz is voiced by Patrick Warburton (aka. Jeff 'Day' Bingham from Rules of Engagement ie. one of my personal heroes)
Zerg is a great loveable bad guy too.

As for your cutest aliens, I would opt for those little blue gremlins from Galaxy Quest.
Either that or one of the cat-girl aliens from Asobi ni Iku yo - depends what you mean by cute.

There's also Wanda's friend the Alien.

Man, I haven't watched that show in ages. I remember it used to air here on a channel called "Toon Disney" around the early 2000's before the channel turned more into The Jetix Channel. Jetix was a segment that took up more and more of its time to the point that Toon Disney became more of the segment than anything else. I should give it a watch again.

And I also love "Rules of Engagement".

"I'm sorry - Jeff Day, I don't make the rules".

I dunno why people rag on the Star Command cartoon so much, just because it wasn't a sequel to Toy Story.

What sort of shows do Jetix do?

Jetix was FOX Kids' replacement and aired primarily action oriented shows like "Power Rangers", which I disliked primarily because those weren't my cup of tea. "Power Rangers" still isn't. My annoyance though is that it replaced Toon Disney in the states (it was said to be a block - except a block doesn't take up practically 80% of a channel)
It died and got replaced with Disney XD, which at least has actual Disney content.

Power Rangers is a generational thing.
You have to have a manufacturing date of 1986 or around then.
You had to be at around the right age to 'appreciate' it while it was massive when it first came out.

I think the appeal is just that it's about fighting for what everyone's supposed to believe in without being at all gritty, dark or even realistic.

I really wouldn't mind the White Ranger's legacy Saba sword from Bandai. It's not especially expensive considering how big the thing is.
