Ah, yes, that one. That amusingly appeared in the weekly email digest with 155 times more supporters than I'd added that week, right below mine! Now that one's interesting, the name of the creator is the same as a Twitter account for some new episodes of Thunderbirds done using the original production techniques. So it's picking up a lot of traction from tweets from that account, you see. That's why it's shooting up like that, while I have been sailing close to the wind in terms of "spamming" (hardly) forums where I think people might remember the show and have an interest in Lego. I had a bit of a dressing down from a French thread in particular!
I wonder how many supporters it would have got if I'd called it something generic, it's just that Lego would really need to license it to be able to produce it so I thought it best to be up front. If I try something again I'd probably do something more original. Interestingly they've just changed the rules so that you can't submit anything to do with a licence they already have - so all of a sudden the Star Wars ship models have dried up. I can see why they've done it, it'll focus the place on genuinely creative efforts in areas that haven't been hammered to death. So we'll see (previously published Star Wars models are still active).
