Re: Going After Firestorm

I was meaning to do this for a long time but I finally got around ordering the first of the individual Firestorm DVDs, as opposed to the 3-disc box set. I'd only been able to find the occasional result for those discs on eBay and Rinkya before now. The problem with Rinkya is that getting anything fr...

Re: Audio Remastering

I started over with downloading these and I now have them all. I'm uploading them to this webserver now which is gonna take a couple of hours. I'm going to put them on there individual so that people can just stream them in the browser and I'll also upload a zip file containing all of them so that p...

Re: Manchester

Hi Happosai, It's great to see you. I sometimes feel that I haven't been on here much in 2 years at all. We've had some difficulty recently at work with a lot of our work being moved away to other countries (nothing to do with Brexit btw). I've been working on a lot of other projects and when I rece...

Re: Street Hawk Comic strip from Look-in (March 1985 to October 1985)

Hi and welcome to the forum,
I didn't know that Look In had a Street Hawk comic.
I had a quick look but all I could find were articles with a couple of pages here and a couple of pages there.

Re: Audio Remastering

The quality of these is great.
They sound like a really well-produced audio drama.

Can I upload those to here? Might be easier for people to get at them.

I thought this was a nice idea - pity the guy didn't plan on doing any more:

Re: Audio Remastering

I'm impressed that you found a VHS from 1982 or whatever unopened. I would think that capture cards will be much-of-a-muchness where you can spend a huge amount for not much gain over a cheaper one. I mean, all it has to do is to take the signal from the VCR and present it via the driver software to...

Re: Audio Remastering

Awesome, I'd love to know how you get on. I tried to find some VCDs that would eliminate the need for analogue capture but the suppliers seem to have dried up. I got some VCDs of Star Fleet ages ago from a guy called Simon Coverdale. I'm surprised that I remember the name because I don't remember th...

Re: Audio Remastering

Ah, I misunderstood. I didn't really watch the US DVDs because the quality was a big disappointment.
I haven't still got the VCDs and even if I had VHS, I'd need a capture card and VCR to pull the audio and I haven't got either.
