Zeroids

I've got a boxed action Zeroid toy but unfortunately it doesn't talk. I guess back in the early Eighties the little sample chips that you find in most toys today were a little too expensive to produce. The toy did have a neat trick, where you could place him on his stand, and wind him up. Pressing t...

Transformers

Transformers the Movie was a real revelation. The Autobot city battle in the first half of the movie is masterfuly directed, and is as exciting as any live action movie. The movie does get a little weaker near the end though due to such an incredible start. Again with the music! Vince Decola's score...

Reminiscent Music

Yep Duran Duran definitely, see also: The Thompson Twins, Howard Jones, Yazoo, etc. Terrahawks is a little weirder as I always think of Erasure's "Sometimes" I guess there is some kind of Electro connection there.

Prettiest and Ugliest Puppets

I would definetly go for Keeli as the Prettiest, your right, having her in just one episode after all the work they must have put into her is crazy! The same goes for the two Imperial cyborgs that you only see in the last couple of episodes who work along side the Imperial Master. Ugly is a bit more...

anyone seen enter the ninja?

I might have seen it before, there were loads and loads of Ninja movies out in the 80's and they were quite popular with teenagers (like myself at the time) in particular. I remember seeing quite a few Ninja movies all with Ninja in the title, it could get quite silly with any old name inserted befo...

Labyrinth

I bought Labyrinth on DVD this weekend, in a 2 for £20 deal at HMV the other title being the Dark Crystal (kick ass). Anyway I hadn't seen Labyrinth in ten years and wanted to see the Character that I read Denise Bryer did the voice for: The Junk Lady. What a wicked film it is though. granted some o...

BIG DAI X Posters/Prints

The Dengeki Gasshin version of the Dai X robot toy from takatoku that I've got, comes with a really large glossy poster of Dai X. I was thinking of taking a good quality shot of it and then making a few big glossy prints from the negative. The actual image of the Dai X is the cutaway technical drawi...
