Crash Override's Game - Work in Progress
May 14th? struthAlthough you might not have guessed I haven't been doing absolutely nothing. The new engine for X-Bomber 2 is like about 70% done - just need some levels to put on it after that.Anyway for those of you who aren't in the know (and shame on you by the way) the new version has more Dai-...

I think it was "analyse this" that made it spring to my attention. I'm supposed to do French and that never occurred to me.

Review: Chronicles of Riddick
Well the graphics and the amount of death on Doom 3 made me ill one night after I went thru that delta complex place (which was thoroughly sick - I thought). I think that Adrian Carmack guy needs a steady role model.

I was thinking about this and I reckon you should call it Robert de Niro - 'cos it's gonna need psychological therapy on the basis of this discussion. That bear off Terrahawks was the freakiest thing.

I think Im gonna get that game myself - I was impressed by the likeness they made of that Diesel guy. But whatever you do don't buy Doom3 - it's utter crap.

Review: Chronicles of Riddick
I saw it. It's the best film I've seen in a while. I think the look of everything did help that. I thought it was a bit like PC game how the story moved from one place to another.I think the Diesel appeal is that he is totally cool - and he had a good scriptwriter.

"Maybe I need to get a life!" - well, I hope not because by implication we might end up having to do the same :]

Brad's Dai X, Part Deux
Well I tried to work it out from some sprites I did and I came out with 206.7416 metres for X-Bomber's length so I guess we must be onto something. Thanks a lot, that's great. The sprites for X-Bomber and Dai-X are gonna be about the same size in the game otherwise the Dai-X'll be impossible to see....

Brad's Dai X, Part Deux
Thanks for that - that's really fantastic. You got some really cool stuff there. I had a good look at the Dai-X models when I came to drawing some sprites the other week.Does anyone know roughly the dimensions of X-Bomber or Dai-X?

Villainous Wannabes
"there's statistically a good chance that at least some of them will have terrible misfortunes in their lives" - Yes, we're busy arranging one of those for our headmaster....as for villains - I'd probably prefer being either Megatron from Transformers or possibly agent Smith from the Matrix.
