Re: My Young Ones' Fanfiction

There are a few Facebook ladies (including myself) who still get over-excited when someone posts the 31-year-old photo of Vyvyan baring his bottom, from the Young Ones book.  I've never been keen on the Alexei Sayle monologues; although they were the bits my dad liked best. I love the ta...

Mystery 80s Song

Just once, when I was 15 (back in '89), I heard a certain "novelty" record on the radio; the chorus went "This is the state of the 80s; if you want to hear worse, here's the next verse..." The said verses reeled off the names of celebs, including Anne Diamond & Windsor Davies...

Re: Questions About 5 TV Shows

I must get hold of the South Park writers' fan-mail address, and request that Terrance & Phillip travel back in time to late-Victorian Canada, and meet Anne of Green Gables. I'd love to see Anne & her pals drawn in that style! I've got time, as new episodes are apparently going to be made at...

Re: Actors you've Met

Could the Red Dwarf crew please find an alternate universe in which the "do this, don't do that blah blah blah" criteria = reversed in my favour? When I was mad about Butterflies @ the age of 17, my best mate told me to stop going on about it. It was my dear mother who got me into the prog...

Re: Family Guy

P.S. Re initials, where I work everyone = required to have 3 initials for computer work, for making annotations etc in the system; so if you haven't been endowed with a middle name (as in my case; my parents found it hard enough to find just one name they both liked), the authorities insert a z in t...

Re: Favourite Zeroid

Amazing news: Thawks = apparently being shown on a channel called Big Centre TV! I hadn't heard of that one; I hope it's one of my numerous Sky channels. In any case, good for them!!! I remember being informed here that the original negatives had gone walkies, but LWT had kept nearly all the episode...

Re: Favourite Zeroid

The dear little Space Sergeant would never be included in my own personal "Room 101". Sorry, that had to be said sooner or later.

Re: Star Fleet Movie

Actually, if a Star Fleet film had been made in the 1990s, Taylor Fry may have been the ideal Lamia. She played Lavinia in one of my fave movies, A Little Princess . (I don't expect many blokes = into that story?) http://upload.mediatly.com/card_pictures/2e/48/07/2e4807e2-f051-4253-8e52-084ff94f1c3f...

Re: Family Guy

RA = my initials. A close friend told me, yonks ago (when I was still in my teens) that I'd be certain to describe my heart-throb's love-interest as "a dog"; I admit sometimes that's been true; perhaps it's human nature. But I can truthfully say that Glenn Quagmire usually has go...

Re: Family Guy

I spent my time doodling RA 4 GQ during a staff meeting, not so long ago; and I'm 41!
