Was Christopher Burr involved with the British adaptation of Starfleet, at all?One guy reviewing old children's programmes on an Internet website said that Starfleet "beat the wooden sh*t out of Terrahawks." I don't think he's right, as they're actually about equal, but I think I can see h...

TerraHawks Videos

I only wish I knew, too, Shane! I feel we ought to let the right people (whoever has the rights) know that there is competition on Ebay for all the videos; they need to know that there is still a great demand for the series, then they might either repeat the whole lot again, or release the second se...

Eighties' Slang

Do you remember all the complimentary phrases that abounded? Ace, brill, fab. Wouldn't you seem antiquated now if you said something was "ace"? Or maybe these words are still current in some regions, I don't know.

I will try to get the forum back on a happy note, as I have moaned about the stupid TV companies innumerable times already! So come on guys, there must be more of you with favourite Terrahawks characters. If a top 5 is too hard, then say your top 3, or just your number 1, or however many you like! T...

One of the saddest things about the lack of repeats is the fact that it drives us to Ebay, where we have to compete with other dedicated fans, causing each other disappointment in outbidding. For example, last night I won a Terrahawks volume 5 (at a whopping great price, but since the closing time w...

I find it so infuriating that it's hard to meet people who remember my very favourite programmes, with whom I may discuss them. If it was some crappy soap opera, everyone would be really familiar with the characters!

I notice you have put Zero and 55, but not 101. Is this deliberate? If so, how can you not like 101? He is such a sweetheart! I remember that Zero was my dad's favourite character, as Dad was already a Windsor Davies fan.So, you liked the one who scared you most (MOID)? That seems rather masochistic...

I reluctantly leave the zeroid 55 out of my top 5 characters; he is a good one, because he always speaks in rhyming couplets, but he needs to be featured more prominently.I am proud to say that over the years, I had only forgotten one character: Hudson the car!

ViewMaster

I noticed with interest that there is a Terrahawks ViewMaster thing on Ebay. I had something like that relating to the Disney cartoon The Rescuers, circa 1980. With mine, you could watch the scene where the 2 mice fly on the albatross' back, when you revolved a little mechanism.I wonder how many kid...

Ideas for Terrahawks stories

I have finally caught up with all the Genesis chapters. It's a pretty impressive piece of work; I haven't bothered to add all the dialogue and detail to my little efforts! It's horrid to think of that awful Imperial Master gaining in strength, even after death, isn't it?
