Re: A couple of random finds

Nice image, They pop-up on Rinkya from-time-to-time but the Rinkya fees, commissions and delivery charges really add-up so I only order on there stuff that I really want. Say, Andy, I finished watching the Terrahawks blu rays and I wondered if you'd seen any of it. That show hasn't really aged grace...

Re: Terrahawks Blu Rays

The 3rd volume of Terrahawks arrived sooner than they said. I haven't watched them all yet but the screenshots from the first disc are viewable here: http://xbomber.co.uk/?dir=Other/TV%20Shows/Terrahawks%203 These episodes focus heavily on new Terrahawks hardware; the lunar tank, hawklet and groundh...

Re: A couple of random finds

Wow, thanks for posting that, It is a very impressive and actually very beautiful model. I like how, on the one hand, it's very accurate and yet it gives the ship a nice and subtle modernisation/refresh. You're absolutely right that, the paint job initially did not improve the look of it. It looked ...

Re: Lego Ideas - X-Bomber!!!

That is a thought but if someone devised a really good kit of a lesser-known ship from Star Wars (if there are still any) that hadn't been produced already (like the Lady Luck or a mole miner), then why shouldn't those be submitted? It's not inconceivable either that someone outside Lego could devis...

Re: Lego Ideas - X-Bomber!!!

People know Thunderbirds and if that lego is done by someone involved in it - well ... Those new episodes look quite interesting. I saw the blu-ray on Amazon when I ordered my Terrahawks vol 3 the other day. I wish they would hurry up and deliver that. I think it's a ridiculous policy to stop sugges...

Re: Manchester

I just hope we're not in for another one: http://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/soldiers-to-patrol-uk-streets-as-threat-raised-to-critical-after-manchester-bombing/ar-BBBt4Ry?li=BBoPWjQ Perhaps it means that IS are feeling the pain in Iraq and Syria and other places. Perhaps it just means that the bo...

Re: Lego Ideas - X-Bomber!!!

This is the only forum I do anything with, I'm afraid. Most, if-not-all others that I've visited have been unfriendly places. I frequented planetdescent a good while ago and it was full of nice and talented people but the forum admin was a total crackpot. I have nothing against Republicans, but this...

Re: Portuguese Notebooks

I repeated some of the scans that I wasn't happy with. Some of the back covers were printed better than others so I went back and scanned the sharpest ones and to get more uniform results. Terrahawks volume 3 is on order (it's only £15 on Amazon). It's a pity that no Gerry Anderson series really eve...

Re: Portuguese Notebooks

I picked these up from the depot, now that I'm back from my travels. These exercise books are a bit different from my original ones. The original ones that I had are thicker with glossy covers and squared paper whereas the 'new' ones are thinner with thinner covers and lined paper. There seem to hav...
