Re: Zordon/Jiraiya’s Lego Thread

Nice work! Did you see Andy's version? https://ideas.lego.com/projects/f27a579 ... dcc4543036

Grey rather than green, as I recall - there were a few green pieces like baseplates and trees, but not regular bricks. A pretty odd ommission by Lego.

Re: Anyone good at 3D?

I have some experience with modelling, but I'm afraid organic shapes like faces are beyond my ability to do competently. And there are special considerations with modelling for 3D printing that I'm not familiar with.

Re: Makara cruiser 3d

In conclusion, there could be two colour pallets
a blue grey, my initial idea type aircraft carrier, navy of war in general
or
type grey slightly green
What do you think?
Personally I'd go for the slightly green tint.

Re: Star Trek Discovery

The bad news is that it's explicitly following up on events from Enterprise ! And in general it feels much more like Enterprise: TNG than a prequel to TOS. The unnecessary redesigns bug me; if they didn't want the show to look anything like TOS, why choose to set it in that time period? And if they ...

Re: Manchester

It's not very difficult for anyone to lose hope completely and conclude quite firmly that the world cares nothing for them (which is probably true). It's makes sense to me that you'd ask yourself "what do I have to lose"? Yep, that's the core of the problem. And the only solution is to start caring...

Re: Manchester

What I think I was trying to get at in my earlier message is that I wish that they had adopted this approach sooner. That's reasonable. The Manchester bomber was born in Manchester, though. If evidence that he was planning a crime had been discovered, he should have been arrested, put on trial, and...

Re: Manchester

Naturally, he was already a 'person of interest' but rather than being shipped off to somewhere, he was free to do what he wanted. There are lots of people of interest, most of whom haven't committed terrible crimes. Having an unaccountable government agency going round picking up innocent people a...
