Re: Site Updates

Dear All, Since the forum is reasonably quiet these days, I thought I'd say that there's lots going on over on the Star Fleet / X-Bomber facebook group. There are more than one but this one is the biggest: https://www.facebook.com/Star-Fleet-aka-X-Bomber-aka-Ekkusu-Bonbā-15098957210/ For everyone th...

It's interesting to pick out the differences in the script between the English and Japanese versions. The preview show i...

Re: Anyone good at 3D?

I'm afraid 3D modelling is something I've never got into.
I don't think I'd have the time or energy to learn enough to get anywhere meaningful with it.

Re: Zordon/Jiraiya’s Lego Thread

That's pretty sweet. They seem to do a *lot* more subtle colours of bricks than they used to, in order to be able to do Star Wars and other Lego sets in vaguely realistic colours. Before that, you had white, black yellow, red, green and blue. And that was pretty much it, apart from some translucent,...

Re: Site Updates

It's been that long. :)
We worked on that right after the first X-Bomber game got put out in 2003.

Re: Site Updates

On Friday, I wrote an integration between the xbomber website and facebook. The problem was that I was putting lots of stuff on facebook; often about updates to the site, but that was not being reflected on the site's front page. So, anyone visiting the site could well think that it was getting no u...

Re: Zordon/Jiraiya’s Lego Thread

Hi! Great to hear from you,
I've obviously been using facebook too much. I was looking for a like button but there is none on this forum.
I guess the idea is that we actually have write something.

Looking forward to seeing more on that!

Re: Site Updates

Hi All, Been a little while since I was on here, I spoke to Krystal hosting back at the end of 2017 about PHP memory limitations preventing the SLIR resizer on the website from scaling down very big images (4000x3000 pixels big etc). I couldn't crack it the first time around but given that I now hav...
