Re: Infinity Magazine

Hi Everyone! Good to see you both, When I shared this on Facebook, there was a weird thing where they'd gone onto infinity magazine's website and got a load of pop-ups, which it also did for me, the first time I loaded it on my PC and my phone. So I emailed them about that but they never got back to...

Re: Infinity Magazine

Great find! I downloaded the electronic copy and it was a really nice write-up: http://infinitymagazine.co.uk/product/infinity-24-kapow/?doing_wp_cron=1578173468.8092029094696044921875 I also enjoyed their review of the BBC's War of the Worlds adaptation. I stitched the two-page poster together in p...

Re: Hawkwing launches in LEGO!

I thought I'd submitted this before but it's not showing...

That's awesome - great reconstruction; Andy.
Really captures the greatness of the original.

Could you do the battletank?
I love that vehicle.

Re: Site Updates

Dear All, Since the forum is reasonably quiet these days, I thought I'd say that there's lots going on over on the Star Fleet / X-Bomber facebook group. There are more than one but this one is the biggest: https://www.facebook.com/Star-Fleet-aka-X-Bomber-aka-Ekkusu-Bonbā-15098957210/ For everyone th...

Re: New US Release w/ Japanese version

Hi All! I'm a a bit late ordering the Star Fleet blu-ray. It is pretty much as we expected, but being able to watch the Japanese show with the help of some subtitles is very good. It's interesting to pick out the differences in the script between the English and Japanese versions. The preview show i...

That's true. I don't remember seeing an actual green brick per se. :)

Re: Anyone good at 3D?

I'm afraid 3D modelling is something I've never got into.
I don't think I'd have the time or energy to learn enough to get anywhere meaningful with it.

Re: Zordon/Jiraiya’s Lego Thread

That's pretty sweet. They seem to do a *lot* more subtle colours of bricks than they used to, in order to be able to do Star Wars and other Lego sets in vaguely realistic colours. Before that, you had white, black yellow, red, green and blue. And that was pretty much it, apart from some translucent,...

Re: Site Updates

It's been that long. :)
We worked on that right after the first X-Bomber game got put out in 2003.

I think those new screenshots of the platforming levels came out really well.

Re: Site Updates

On Friday, I wrote an integration between the xbomber website and facebook. The problem was that I was putting lots of stuff on facebook; often about updates to the site, but that was not being reflected on the site's front page. So, anyone visiting the site could well think that it was getting no u...
