Re: Star Fleet episode subtitles

Ha! That's fine, and honestly rather good to hear. I'm glad that some professionals took the effort, and I suppose that means I just need to pay up and get a copy of that Blu-ray release! As for transcoding and muxing audio and video from different sources, I've tried exactly that, and unfortu...

Re: Forum Downtime

Thanks for the welcome! :) Nah, I'm afraid I don't have anything really worth posting on the site just yet. There's that sculpting stuff I've started on which you saw, but I'd like to at least build a body for Hercules before calling it "done". I also just posted another thread about some transcript...

Re: Star Fleet episode subtitles

Hmm… and now that I sit back and re-read what I wrote here, I just had another realization: there's a newer Blu-ray release of Star Fleet out now too, right? Any idea if that version finally has English subtitles, rendering this whole dumb effort moot?

Star Fleet episode subtitles

Over the decades, I've had the US VHS tapes (set of 8 compilation mega-episodes), a set of bootleg VCDs made from the US VHS tapes, the 2009 UK DVD set, the 2009 French DVD set (Bomber X: Intégrale), and locally-made rips of all those DVDs. Whenever I'm in a nostalgic mood, I'll flip through a folde...

Re: Forum Downtime

I just wanted to pop my head in here and say thank you Crash! for keeping this old ship afloat through what sounds like several tumultuous migrations! I don't know of any other online haven for Star Fleet fans, and even if this place isn't terribly active, I'm always thrilled to see it's still avail...

Barry Hercules bust sculpted in 3D

*tap tap tap* Is this thing on? Hi folks! :) It's been a while since I made an appearance here. I actually had to go digging through old emails to find my reset credentials from when the forums migrated a couple years ago — I thought maybe I missed a memo or something when I couldn't log in. I guess...

*crawls out from Sargasso, the graveyard of space**brushes off dust**watches YouTube video*Very impressive!   You've done a great job with both the models and the textures. Although I ended up producing a few good models, it took me a long time to build up enough technique and practice to get them l...

One for the Techs

Geez, I'm clueless. Right there you already posted your questions and somehow I breezed past it down to see just your last post.Crash already posted the link that I also found for the Ikonboard-to-SMF converter. I just downloaded it and took a look for myself, and it looks like it *should* work with...

One for the Techs

Whew... I checked this site over the weekend (I've been away for quite a while!) and was a wee bit terrified to see that the forums had disappeared! I found a mention on Crash's site that you were working on a replacement, and I found your new SMF install at /forum/, but I resisted the temptation to...

Cameo in Where's Wall-E? picture

Each time I come back to this, I feel like I recognize someone I missed before. This time I spotted Tom Servo right in front. "Robot roll call!"But I must say that I'm shocked — shocked! — at the omission of all things Star Trek. No love for Lt. Cmdr. Data or his evil brother Lore? There are plenty ...
